  2. Look hard at the Superior Garden View. It adds a 15 sq m living area to the king-bed room, which gives you somewhere to get ready and unwind away from the pool crowd.
  3. Claim pool chairs or a cabana early. One reviewer recommends being out by 9:30 a.m. to secure a spot.
  4. Pack costumes. Reviewers single out the theme nights, so bring outfits for the evenings, not just swimwear.
  5. Expect a timeshare pitch. Guests report membership sales offers at breakfast and around the spa. A polite no works, and so does not accepting a free massage in exchange for your time.
  6. Budget for extras. The all-inclusive covers a lot, but reviewers complain that bottled wine, massages and shop items are pricey and heavily promoted. Ask what is included before you order.

Getting there

The resort is on the highway between Cancun and Puerto Morelos, a short taxi from the airport.

Cancun International (CUN), roughly 15 km away. Allow 20 to 25 minutes by car.

  • Add LLV's round-trip airport transfer when you book. It is $238 per couple and appears on your invoice, so it is simple to pay with your balance.
  • Check-in starts after 3:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM. If you land early, the resort's pool and spa are a good place to wait for your room.
  • Your trip runs Thursday to Tuesday, with Memorial Day on the Monday near the end, so book flights home for Tuesday and give yourself a buffer.
