The venue: Hedonism II
Hedonism II sits on Seven Mile Beach in Negril, Jamaica, with 280 rooms split between a clothing-optional side and a nude side. The clothing-optional side has the main pool, a swim-up bar pool, three plunge pools and a hot tub. The nude side has its own pool and swim-up bar, hot tub and beach. There are multiple restaurants, five bars and a nightclub, and the world-famous playroom opens late each night beyond the courtyard. Rooms come in Classic, Premium and Xtra categories, with hot tub options, and with ocean or garden views.
Who goes and house rules
Who can go
Adults only. Couples and singles are welcome at the resort, though rooms cannot have more than one male guest, so MM, MMM and MMF bookings are not accepted. Single occupancy is 150% of the per-person nightly rate.

Dress code
Covering is required in restaurants, the gym, the lobby, the wine and espresso bars and the boutique. Gym shoes and workout wear are required in the gym. Theme nights invite costumes and revealing outfits.
Photos
No photos or video of nightly shows or entertainment, and no cameras or phones on the nude beach, nude pool or in the playrooms. Phones are fine for personal use in clothing-optional areas, but no recording and no other guests in your shots. Smart glasses and recording wearables are banned.
Single men
The resort accepts single guests, but the playroom is open only to couples, single women and invited single men.
Insider tips
- Pick your side before you book. Rooms at Hedonism II are designated either clothing-optional or nude, and on the nude side you must be nude in the public areas. If you are unsure, start clothing-optional.
- Take the hot tub upgrade if you can. Hedonism II sells Classic and Premium rooms with hot tubs on both the ocean and garden sides, a nice reward after a workout.
- Pack gym wear and a costume. Naughty Gym Night asks for your sexiest, skimpiest gym gear, and Hedonism II's themed nights reward costumes.
- Bring cover-ups for the restaurants. Dining requires you to cover genitals, posterior and chest, and the gym, lobby and bars have dress rules too.
- Plan to leave your camera in the room. The resort bans photos of shows, and cameras are forbidden on the nude beach, nude pool and in the playrooms.
- Lock in your flights into Montego Bay and your transfer together. The drive to Negril takes the better part of two hours, so factor it into your arrival and departure days.
Getting there
Hedonism II is a long drive from Jamaica's main airport, so plan the travel day.
Montego Bay Sangster International (MBJ), about 30 miles away. Allow roughly 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
- Book the resort's round-trip transfer from MBJ or arrange a private driver in advance. The resort offers transfers for an extra charge.
- Check-in starts at 3 PM and check-out is noon, and the stay runs Saturday to Saturday. Land in Montego Bay early enough to be in Negril for the first evening.
