Celestial is Bliss with a dressier, more glamorous streak: a six-night sail on Celebrity Silhouette with nearly 3,000 guests, two brand-new ports and a theme night for every evening from golden sunsets to leather-and-latex Dark Matter. Who it's for

Couples aged 21 and over who want a longer lifestyle cruise with room to breathe: three sea days for pool parties, seminars and play, and two beach ports to recover in. It works for first-timers who prefer a longer runway and for repeat Bliss couples who like a polished ship and a costume-heavy calendar.

Highlights

  • Two new Bliss ports

Cabo Rojo in the Dominican Republic and Grand Turk in Turks & Caicos are both first-time ports for Bliss, which makes this sailing a genuine new itinerary even for veterans.

  • A theme night every evening

Golden Sunset, Starlit Soiree formal, Moonlit Glow in white and neon, Dark Matter Fetish, Metallic Meteor and Satin & Silk Sunrise give the week a clear arc.

  • Pool parties with big-name DJs

Clothing-optional pool parties run with world-class DJs on the sea days, plus a foam party among the signature events.

  • Playrooms at sea

Multiple adult play areas are set up on board, along with informal, no-pressure meet and greets and ice-breakers for couples who want an easy way in.

  • Expert-led workshops

Seminars on sexuality, relationships and kink are led by specialists, and some are open to every couple while others are restricted.

  • Silhouette's upscale ship

Specialty restaurants like Murano and Tuscan Grille, a full AquaSpa and the Persian Garden for Aqua Class guests give you a premium base between parties.

The ship: Celebrity Silhouette

Celebrity Silhouette is a Solstice-class ship delivered in 2011 and built in Germany at Meyer Werft, with room for close to 3,000 guests. The pool decks sit on Decks 12 and 14, there is a real-grass Lawn Club at the stern, and the main restaurants include the Oceanview Cafe, Main Dining Room, Tuscan Grille and Murano. Suite guests get The Retreat, though Sky Suites do not include the Retreat Lounge, and Aqua Class staterooms come with complimentary Persian Garden access and priority spa booking a month ahead.

Who goes and house rules

  • Who can go

Couples only, one man and one woman. A small number of single men or women may attend as part of a threesome.

  • Age

    21+

  • Dress code

Clothing-optional on designated upper decks and pools while at sea, and at signature excursions in port. Dinner is resort casual or smart casual: no swimwear, tank tops or T-shirts in restaurants at dinner, and shorts only in the buffet. Formal night is optional.

  • Photos

No photos or video in clothing-optional areas, the playroom, workshops or during theme nights. Respect other guests' privacy everywhere else.

  • Single men

Not a singles event. All cabins require double occupancy, and a single who arrives unannounced at the dock can be refused boarding with no refund.

Insider tips

  1. Book the group-rate hotel by March 15, 2027. The Embassy Suites on 17th Street is the official pre-cruise base, and being near the port makes the day before sailing easy. Cancellations follow hotel penalties, so read the terms.
  2. Arrive a day early. Flying in the morning of a 4pm departure is a gamble, and the pre-cruise parties on a Bliss cruise are a big part of how couples get comfortable before boarding.
  3. Be realistic about costumes. Six theme nights with Starlit Soiree formal and a Dark Matter fetish night mean you need real packing room, and the dinner dress code (no jeans, no swimwear) still applies.
  4. Consider Aqua Class. The Persian Garden access and early spa booking pay off on a six-night sail with three sea days, and Aqua rooms are double occupancy only.
  5. Skip the cheapest veranda unless you can handle it. The V3 verandas have partially obstructed views, so if you want a balcony to enjoy, pick a better category.
  6. Plan for Cabo Rojo as an afternoon port. The ship arrives at 1pm and leaves at 8pm, so keep it simple, and book any beach excursion through the cruise line before you sail.

Getting there

The ship sails from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, one of the easiest cruise ports in Florida to reach by air.

FLL, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, about 3 miles from the port, roughly 10 minutes by car.

  • Celebrity's home terminal at Port Everglades is Terminal 25, with Terminal 29 shared with other lines, so confirm your terminal in your cruise documents.
  • Taxis from the airport run a flat rate to the port, and Uber and Lyft have sheltered pickup zones at both ends.
  • Do not show up before 10:30am. Early check-in is not allowed, and boarding typically runs from 11am to 3pm.
  • The official pre-cruise hotel is Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale 17th Street at 1100 SE 17th Street, with a group rate from $259 per night valid April 14 to 18, 2027 if you book by March 15, 2027.
