The venue

A beachfront boutique hotel in South Beach, bought out entirely for the weekend. The grounds are split between a main building and an ocean building, and the pool is clothing optional, with ocean-view and pool-view rooms opening onto balconies above it. Room categories run from Studio Suite, Double Bed and King Suite to Garden View Balcony, Ocean Front King, Luxe Garden Balcony and a 2 Story Villa, and there are only seven villas on site.

Getting there

MIA, Miami International Airport, about 10 miles from the beaches. A taxi to South Beach runs roughly 20 to 25 minutes in normal traffic and about $35 to $55.

  • Check-in opens Friday at 2:30 PM and the event ends Monday at 11 AM. Memorial Day itself falls on Monday, May 31, so the last morning is a travel day for a lot of people.
  • Causeway traffic and drawbridge openings can stall the ride, so leave extra time when heading to the airport.
